Description: Launch of the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) Project

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Sri Lanka with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) are jointly implementing the project “Support for strengthened reconciliation processes and increased access to person-centered, comprehensive, and credible reparations mechanisms in Sri Lanka”. The launched project will continue to support the Office for Reparations to carry out its activities, including the recently piloted Psychosocial Support Program.

Key addresses were made by the following heads of agencies during the launch of the project –

  1. Dhara Wijayatilake - Chairperson, Office for Reparations
  2. Hanaa Singer- UN Resident Coordinator in Sri Lanka
  3. Sarat Dash - Chief of Mission to IOM Sri Lanka and Maldives
  4. Kunle Adeniyi -  UNFPA Representative for Sri Lanka and Country Director for The Maldives
